Once your business is registered, be ready for sales to launch at 9am on November 21st.

We want this program to be a success for you and other Oceana County businesses!  You can help by promoting that there are 900 gift cards available for purchase (that's $28,500 for Oceana County businesses)!!!.  Here are a few ideas:

 

• Post and share on your social media and sites, including community and school pages.  Sample posts:

  • Our local businesses regularly support events, fundraisers, schools, and residents – now you can support them AND get $10!  Buy gift cards Nov 21st at DiscoverOceana.com!

  • Local gift cards make great gifts.  Buy $25 cards at DiscoverOceana.com starting November 21st and get an additional $10 on each card!

• • SHOP LOCAL – SUPPORT OCEANA – SCORE $10 with the DiscoverOceana.com Gift Card Gift Back program!

 

• Print the attached poster and post in public places - hand them out in your place of business for others to share.

 

• Post the message “DiscoverOceana.com $10 Gift Card Gift Back Nov 14th” on your outdoor signs and display.

 

• Create an accompanying promotion at your business.

 

• Whatever other creative ways you think of!

 

REDEEMING GIFT CERTIFICATES - when customers redeem their gift cards, they must provide you with an electronic or printed copy that will look like the one I inserted below.  Each card has a unique code.  Be sure to track when that code gets redeemed in case someone tries to use it twice.  I will provide you with a list of who purchased from you once sales are complete however, customers will likely try to use their card before you get the final list.  

 

If you would like to use our easy-to-use app to redeem the gift cards I am including the instructions for you below (super easy)!  You only need wi-fi to use!

 

1. DOWNLOAD GiftUp APP on a wi-fi enabled device 

2. Enter email & pin (you set up your pin through an email you'll receive from me later today)

3. SCAN BARCODE or enter gift card code (you can use the sample card below to try out the app!)

4. REDEEEM full or partial amount - cardholder balance will be visible
