Thanks to the generosity of a local anonymous donor, Consumers Energy, and the Community Foundation for Oceana County with the promotional support of the United Way of the Lakeshore, West Shore Bank and Shelby State Bank, we are thrilled to present a second round of the Discover Oceana Gift Card Give Back Program.
Here’s how it works:
Buy a $25 gift card from your favorite local merchant from the list below (coming soon) and receive a free $10 bonus (small service fee applies). Limit 5 cards/business. That means... spend $25, get $35. Better yet... buy 5 cards, get $50 free!
After you make your gift card purchase, an electronic card will be immediately available for download, print and emailed to you or to a person you'd like to gift it to.
The Discover Oceana Gift Card Program is administered by the Hart Economic & Redevelopment Team (learn more about us here) with support from area chambers & economic organizations.
Why we're doing it:
When you purchase a gift card through our program, your purchase (plus the $10 bonus incentive) goes right to the local businesses you’d like to support. The round is limited to 800 gift cards for sale and each customer is allowed to purchase up to five gift cards per round. This is to ensure that many others are able to support their favorite downtown businesses. Our small businesses are vital to our communities and with your help, we will generate over $28,000 to distribute.
